Stork Club Cocktail
This classic citrus cocktail hails from New York City's Stork Club via The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook.
- Dash of lime juice
- Juice of half an orange
- Dash of triple sec
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- Dash of angostura bitters
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake well, and strain into a chilled 4-ounce cocktail glass.

- Use a dash of lemon juice if you don't have lime.
- I suggest straining your freshly squeezed orange juice before adding to your shaker to ensure you don’t end up with pulp floating around in your cocktail.
- This cocktail also makes a wonderful punch. To serve, multiply ingredients and pour into a bunch bowl over a block of ice.
